Taiji Qigong Shibashi
Created in 1979 by Prof. Lin Housheng, Taiji Qigong Shibashi is officially included in the curriculum of traditional chinese medicine universities in China. It is also promoted as a health exercise by the Indonesian, Malaysian, Singapore and Thailand governments. In 1991, the United Nations Development Programs Department issued a recommendation for the promotion of Taiji Qigong Shibashi.
Effects
Shibashi wonderfully combines the beauty of Tai Chi to the effectiveness of Qigong. Simple and accessible to everyone, movements are fluid, breathing is soft, and the sensation of the energy flowing throughout the whole body makes the practice of Qigong very pleasant.
Health Benefits
-
Allows a better circulation of energy (Qi) inside the whole body as well as an improvement in flexibility.
-
Promotes relaxation, stress management, tranquility of the mind and a better sleep.
-
Improves among other things the health of people suffering from cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, insomnia, ocular deficits, diabetes, paralysis, degenerative diseases, immunodeficiency, and asthma.
-
Favorises calmness, serenity and letting go.
More and more scientific research demonstrate the benefits of physical activity and meditation. Meditation in movement - Qigong is therefore the ideal exercise.
